Vatican worrying about a decrease in the number of their slaves?
This is great news. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/7227629.stm The Vatican will have less slaves to control, and less people living miserable lives all for nothing but the reason of thinking it will make them more godly (it won't). If you want to know what kind of hell many nuns have went through, i advise you to read Sister Charlotte's testimony. Many nuns are raped, abused, and tortured in various ways. Others even give birth after being raped by priests and have to watch their babies get murdered (so much for being a "pro-life" church, huh? Sister Charlotte's testimony: http://www.remnantofgod.org/sister1.htm Skepsis- That "article" does little to prove that her testimony is a hoax. All it does really is try to compare her nunnery to what a catholic think's a nunnery should be. Nothing more. It is like saying catholics should be pro-life, but when baby skeletons get discovered at a convent, you will see a different and darker picture of the catholic church. Not to mention her accounts were confirmed by other catholics (jesuits, nuns) who left their respective orders. What you cited seems little more than Jesuit character assassination to me.....

wow .... grow up. people that dedicate their lives to God are not slaves. maybe you should be enslaved for a time and be able to understand that. wow.... what a dolt! before you condemn over one person's testamony who is against the Rcc.... why not be less biased and listen to others. i know many and they are lovely blessed women.

Some reports show the catholic organization to have the highest decline in membership roles. I am not for sure if that information is correct or not. This could probably be answered better by someone that attends meetings of this organization. All worldly religions are dying out..Which is stated in Revelation would happen. The fall of Babylon the Great.

The Charlotte Wells "testimony" is a hoax: http://www.angelfire.com/ms/seanie/forgeries/charlottewells.html Abuse happens in any authoritarian organization, but sensationalizing it doesn't help anyone. The decline in vocations to the religious life is likely the realization of more effective opportunities for social action for women in a changing culture.
