If an atheist were to run into the Vatican and pour several ounces of cyanide down the Pope's throat?
What would happen? The Pope is supposed to be God's representative on Earth, so if anyone believes, it would be him. The question is: would the Pope live or die? On his own, his beliefs should prevent him from being hurt from drinking cyanide. If some high-ranking cardinal were there, then he could "lay hands" on the Pope, and the Pope "shall recover." If God exists, and the Bible is right, then the Pope would live, despite the cyanide's ability to kill him within minutes. If the Bible is wrong, then he would die. Conversely, if he lives, then the Bible receives some experimental validation. However if he dies, either the Bible is wrong, or the Pope wasn't a true believer.

God does not work this way. Would you do some things like this to the someone you love very much - maybe pour cyanide into your girl friend/boy friend dog and see if she/he forgives you. If you really wanted to search or proove the existance of God it has to be much more complicated than this. I hear of a professor who went all out of his way to proof God does not exist. He did many years of research and finally he became a Christian. Jesus loves you, open your heart to Him...

Security in the Vatican is tighter than the butts of the U.S. nazi border patrol. If the atheist did get past the guards, he'd be charged with: attempted murder (and/or first degree murder if he died), trespassing on private property, and any other private Laws that the Vatican has regarding citizens bringing harm to the pope. Trying to prove that God and the Bible does not exist in these pathetic little "quips" is so sad. Just so you know, millions of people in the world (both religious and non-believers and those who don't even care) think that the current pope (Pope Benedict XVI) is a true Nazi terrorist.
