You should know this as a Roman Catholic.. because the church is an invention of the Roman Empire, who seized upon the opportunity to change the state religion to christianity and oppress their people with said religion.
2 :
Perhaps its because of the lack of Catholics in Israel....
3 :
Because Rome won, Israel lost. History is written by the winners.
4 :
Christianity was invented by a Roman pagan emperor named Constantin dear, during the 4th century AD. The fact that the fairy tales used to build this religion took place in Egypt and Palestine make no difference.

The Vatican was meant for the arch bishop of the Roman Empire. That position gained more power than other arch bishops over the years.

There is no "vatican" in the Bible. There is no "pope" in the Bible. Catholicism is not Christian. Catholicism leads to eternal torment in hell, because catholicism teaches works for salvation, and that is a false gospel of works (Galatians 1:6-9) that is against JESUS'S free gift of salvation! And catholicism will not give you a PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP with Jesus, which is what JESUS wants with you! So, you need to get away from catholicism, and instead, to believe in JESUS for His free gift of salvation! It's clear from the Book of Acts in the Bible that catholics didn't even exist during the days of Acts. Catholicism didn't exist for over 300 years after Jesus. And catholicism didn't exist for over 200 years after the Bible was complete and compiled. Those in the Book of Acts are the first Christians, and they believed what would be called fundamentalist doctrine today. ANYONE can read the Book of Acts for themselves and see. Had catholicism existed during the time of Acts, the first Christians would have rejected catholicism completely. Also there's TONS of Christians who also completely rejected catholicism, long before Martin Luther was even born. Catholicism murdered millions and millions of Christians. :*( So not only is it wrong for anyone to say that "catholics were the first Christians", but this blows away the catholic claim that "no churches existed other than the catholic church, until Martin Luther". Every "pope" is a false prophet. And there is no "pope" in the Bible. There were ALWAYS saved believers outside the catholic cult, who knew catholicism cannot save anyone. Catholicism cannot save. Only believing in Jesus for His free gift of salvation, is what saves! So, catholics need to get away from catholicism, and instead, to believe in JESUS for His free gift of salvation! Jesus is God, and Jesus loves you so very much! :D And the Trinity is true! The truth about Jesus is that the only way to be saved and to get into heaven and avoid being sent to hell, is by believing in Jesus for His free gift of salvation, believing in faith alone that Jesus, who is God, died on the cross for all our sins as FULL PAYMENT for all our sins, and then Jesus rose from the dead (1 Corinthians 15:1-4). Believe in Jesus for His free gift of salvation, and you will be in heaven, no matter what! Salvation is a FREE GIFT that happens in a split second when you believe in JESUS for His free gift of salvation! It is impossible to lose or "leave" salvation (John 6:39-40, John 10:28, 1 John 5:13). Please pray now: "Jesus, I believe that You died on the cross to pay for my sins and that You rose from the dead, and I thank You for eternal life!" You will be in heaven with Him forever when you die! :D

Do some research into the original Orthodox Church and its schism in 1054. Although there were hundreds of bishops throughout Christendom, there were only five patriarchs -- one for each of the five important cities in the empire: Jerusalem, Alexandria, Antioch, Constantinople, and Rome. In the ninth century, the East and the West began to drift apart. The Patriarch (Pope) of Rome began to introduce new and foreign ideas into the Faith. One of these ieas was the supremacy of the Roman Pope over the rest of the Christian Church. The other four patriachs of the Church in the East, knowing that having one supreme ruler over the entire Church would divide and corrupt the Church, unsuccessfully pleaded with the Pope of Rome not to introduce this new idea. Since the Orthodox Church would not compromise and allow any changes to be made in the Faith, in 1054 the Roman Church officially severed itself from the rest of the Church. In the East, the Church was always looked at as something otherworldly which joins Heaven and earth, while in the West, the Church began to beceome this-worldly, pointing believers towards the earthly organization rather than the one spiritual organism of the Body of Christ. Throughtout the years after this devastating schism, the West experienced tremendous turmoil and corruption. The Crusades began, which evolved into an attack on the Church in the East. Then came the Renaissance, which brought back pagan ideals and mixed them with Christianity, then the Inquisition, and finally the Protestant Reformation. The West experienced the "Middle ages," which marked the gradual transition between the ancient Christian world-view and the modern godless one. The East experienced no such Middle Ages, since there the Orthodox Church preserved the Christianity of the Apostles and the early Church. .

God wanted the Head of His Church on earth to be located, not in some obacure Roman province but the Capital City of the Roman Empire itself.

The reign was taken over from the relatives of Jesus and Mary Magdalene to Peter and Paul. And they were orientated to Rome. Christianity did not become Jewish but international.

That's because the apostle Petrus (the first bisshop of Rome), came to Rome to spread the word of Jesus. The Romans were known to be tolerant towards other believes, as long as the Roman gods were accepted as well. But the christians worshipped only their one and only god. That's why they were persecuted by the Romans. As a result Petrus was captured and died on a cross upside down under the reign of emperor Nero. This happened in Nero's circus on Vatican Hill. That's the reason why the St.Peter's Basilica was built there in the 16th tot 17th century. But even before that some popes had their residences on Vatican Hill.
