Does the Vatican Empire have kings that are over the kings of the earth as mentioned in the Bible

Does the Vatican Empire have kings that are over the kings of the earth as mentioned in the Bible?
No king in the world who ever lived and all combined would never cross the pope.

I'm not talking to you until you prove to me you read the Bible Verse I posted for you earlier. What's the matter? You're not an 'expert' in that verse? I thought so.

Popes were arrested by kings on several occasions. Some assassinated, several married. Read some history and forget the entire Hal Lensey Pope=Anti-Christ BS. Work on your relationship and forget prophecy. Love one another as I have loved you.

No, the Vatican Empire is just the Roman Empire with new titles and names. That is why they feel entitled to rule the world.

What. Muslim leaders have publicly stated that they can't stand the guy. I doubt China or Russia think much of him. Largely Protestant countries are indifferent to him now, but in previous centuries they seriously challenged his authority. Basically, you're talking bollocks.

Kings were divenly appointed leaders in judeo-christianity. Before jews asked God for a king they didn't have any, but since then it was held as a divinely inspired position. Thus it seems natural that the pope appoints kings in the name of the Lord.

Within the Catholic Church, the official Church for the laity is the local Bishop.. The Pope is the top teacher of everyone but the local Bishop is in charge locally. There are 1.2 billion Catholics in the world - realistically no one person can manage 1.2 billion people, so there is delegation like in any other very large organization. The disciplinary arm of the Vatican is the CDF http://www.vatican.va/roman_curia/congregations/cfaith/index.htm The CDF kicks into high gear when Priests make Catholicism political in an inappropriate way, when laity citizens decide to declare themselves Priests without prior approval or education/process, when licensed to teach Catholic Priests start rewriting major Church doctrine, stuff like that.. The really serious infractions.. The CDF ensures the faithful following and promulgation of the Church's teachings and that with so many Catholics in the world that theological mayhem does not break out. The Vatican is not an Empire. The Catholic Church was started by Christ and has been around a long long time - so, it is a large organization of course. An empire implies armies. There are many devout, faithful clergy and religious around the world who serve everyone including the poor and sick. A Kingdom yes, the Kingdom of God but not an Empire.

It was long the belief of the Popes of the Catholic Church that all earthly rulers were subordinate to themselves. During the middle ages and Renaissance the Popes sometimes exercised very real temporal power, but many princes and kings were very happy to cross the Popes, even before the Reformation. Some Popes were imprisoned, intimidated and murdered by Catholic kings, and many were ignored. From the Reformation onward, many Protestant kings opposed the will of the Vatican.
