Are the Jewish People above everyone else in history

Are the Jewish People above everyone else in history?
No one is innocent as a group in history. Many things the jews suffered were from outside the jewish community, but many things the jews suffered were from inside the Jewish community also. Just read your Old Testament and see how many times they disobeyed God himself. As the chosen people of the old testament and as Vatican II said, "our elder brethren" in the faith of Abraham, the Jews have suffered greatly. But we must avoid certain extremes. Evangelical Christians seem to think that the Jews are above everyone else and that helping Israel is helping God himself. I would say to these people, stop falsifying biblical prophecy. The other side of the coin are the Muslims and the Nazis. They both look upon the Jews as Money hungry, mean spirited, devious and liers. Now both these extremes are wrong. Can you honestly say that a Jewish person is worth more than a Christian person? A Christian is one who believe in Christ in Trinity. We live in the NT. They live in the Old Testament. A Jew's human dignity in not less than a Christians. A Chistians life is not more thans Jews in basic human dignity. But we Christians follow Christ and live in his grace. Now its a mystery as St. Paul says when he speaks about the Jews and the Gentiles. But lets get over the Evangelical American idea that modern day Israel is somehow special. It is no more special than Zimbobwe, Belize, Canada, or the United States.

Im Jewish and no I dont think that Jews are better then Christians true i dont believe that Jesus was Messiah but no person is better theres a famous story in one of our holy books called the Tanach that there is a rabbia and a theif and when they get to heaven God says that the thief is worth more then the rabbi why? because the rabbi didnt reach his full potential in life he could have done more then he id but the thief reached his full potential he had to steal to get through college ut he go through it and ended up getting through college and having a better life then what he grew up in so a persons value is not judged but their religion in judaism its judged by the potential they did reach and the one they could have

Zionism make Muslim look Jews a bad things. I believe that Zionism is not identical with Jews. But I dont really know if they have any contributions.

This story is not right...God would not approve of someone stealing..."Thou Shalt Not Steal"...the end does not justify the means.

Romans 1:16 says that "It is the power of God unto salvation to the Jew first, then to the Gentile." The New Testament does not mean God's covenants with the Jew's are void. The God of the Old Testament is the same God of New Testament. Deuteronomy 7:6 says, "For you are a people holy to the LORD your God. The LORD your God has chosen you out of all the peoples on the face of the earth to be his people, his treasured possession." This does not mean they are automatically "saved" and will go to Heaven. In order to assurance of eternal life in heaven, one must believe in God's Son, Jesus. Because of God's Promise to redeem the Jews in the end times, Israel will turn to her Messiah and be saved. So, in the meantime, any believers in Jesus are "grafted in" and may partake of the Tree of Life. If you don't believe that these covenants are still true today then you believe that God made a mistake and sent Jesus to clean thinks up. But this is not true God is Alpha and Omega, it has always been planned out. Israel and the Jews are Gods chose people.

Given that the Jews are God's CHOSEN people, I'd say they're special in that respect. You're right- they've got no more human dignity than anyone else, but that doesn't mean Christians ought not feel compelled to respect them.
